Office Fabric

  • Introducing Office UI Fabric (coming February 2016)
    • Often described as “Bootstrap for Office,” the Office UI Fabric is an open source project from Microsoft that allows you to quickly and easily make your SharePoint, Office 365 and Office Client add-ins look, feel and act like they are a native part of their hosting application.  But it is also so much more than that – it is UI elements from the Office Design Language, like colors and typography, icons, animations, a responsive grid, localization support and a collection of 25+ ready-to-use components that can be dropped into your project to provide immediate value.  This course introduces the Office UI Fabric, exploring its elements and demonstrates how it can provide immediate value to a  project.
  • Developing with the Office UI Fabric
    • Fabric helps you create a front-end experience for your app that aligns with the Microsoft Office experience. This course will give you demos for many Fabric components like display and navigation, and you’ll even learn how to use Fabric in Angular.
